Went to the movies to watch Mel Gibsons' Apocalypto with hubby yesterday. I have only one word
W.O.W
Never, ever have I watched a movie like this before. It is brilliant but if you are not into blood, guts and gore this will be the one to pass on. You've been warned.

I have heard the same thing. Waiting for silverbird to bring it...Its coming soon according to them..LOL
I heard that it pretty amazing. I didn't think I would want to watch it after seeing the previews. With so many people saying it's awesome, I'm going to have to go to some remote hick town to see it because it's out of major circulation.
Gotta go check it out.so many good reviews.
Mel Gibson's into blood and gore but he handles them well...'Passion of the Christ', 'Braveheart'...I saw 'de javu' last friday and thought the final scene was unconvincing but I'll forgive a Denzel Washington movie anyday. And no. I'm not gay. I'll look out for Apocalypto's dates tomorrow but first, I do 'blood diamond'.
Genevieve- You should write the editors. In their bid to halt True Love's onslaught on their market share, they might be digging a hole for themselves.
The loss of your friend- suddenly we realize we aren't immortal and struggle to make sense of it all. Where's the logic? What's the point? Where's the pattern? (between the last two lines, I waited 10 minutes, asking myself the questions again)
There has to be a grand design we are unaware of, even if sometimes it causes us pain.
